Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion
Raindrops and Rainbows was developed to be a judgement free space to help parents meet their lactation goals no matter their situation. We are here to educate and support parents and babies in their feeding journey.
We recognize that not every lactating person identifies as mother so we strive to use inclusive terminology such as "parent", "chestfeeding", "lactating person", and/or "human milk". Terminology is used out of respect for individuals. Pronouns are the first way a person is identified other than their name.
Raindrops and Rainbows was developed by Amanda, our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Amanda's lactation journey started in 2020 with the birth of her daughter where she struggled through nursing and pumping. Due to her own concerns and complications, she continued to study lactation, and received her Certified Lactation Specialist certification in 2021 and IBCLC in 2023.
